The 7th Asian Association of Women's Studies (AAWS) Congress 2025 aims to offer a vital space to changemakers, feminists, and advocates across Asia to examine real-world women's landscape, celebrate achievements, and confront persistent gaps.
The Asian Association of Women’s Studies (AAWS), in collaboration with the Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) and the Office of the Gender Concerns (OGC) of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), will be holding the 7th Asian Association of Women’s Studies (AAWS) Congress 2025 on 06-07 November 2025 at the UP Open University Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines. With the theme “Empower, Sustain, Democratize: Asian Women’s Journey at the Intersection of Change,” this brings together scholars, activists, practitioners, and advocates. Anchored in the six various sub-themes, the congress serves as a dynamic call-to-action, centered on empowerment and collaboration across intersecting identities, with Asian women leading the way.
